It is (or if you want to be pedantic, will be) a bug. OS X is dropping 32-bit support, which will break a lot of wine functionality.

This was discussed at the last Wineconf in detail. AFAIK Ken is exploring various workarounds, though I'm not aware of the current state of things. Given that Apple is considering moving to ARM in the near future, this may have complicated things further, but that's my own speculation.

Given that it's only a warning for now, not critical.

Thank you! Maybe one thing you may thing of: what is about a version with only 64-Bit Windows programs support? In my case I don't have the need for 32-Bit Windows programs, so it would help me out and may be many others. And you will get more time for a 32-Bit Windows programs solution.

May be someone is able to give a feeling on how far the progress currently is?

Normally I would be able to wait, but my reminder has stopped working, because Apple has changed the API. So there is a strong need to upgrade. :)
