KKBOX 4.2.0.158 crashes right after exe file launch displaying only loading
splash
screen. The program requires IE7, WMP10.

confirming. Using native mlang the GUI comes up for me, then crashes a bit
later in urlmon. Using native urlmon and shlwapi the GUI seems to come up fine,
but I can't read Chinese, so i couldn't test any further

hmm, i'll have to correct that again, i was also using native comctl32. So to
recapture: First 'winetricks cc580', then it still crashes. After setting mlang
to native then, the GUI comes up fine . I'll change component to comctl32, as
that seems to make it crash a bit earlier, though not sure

Thanks, I have confirmed your approach works with wine 1.3.1.

So there are at least two issues - 
* mlang.dll
* comct132.dll (cc580)

I will focus on mlang.dll first, which seems one of the major problems on
Chinese software.

The latest version of KKBOX is 4.6.0, it works with Gecko without native mlang.
Please close ths issue as invalid.
