here is the last run log

my copy of chem3d wont start. i used winetricks for the dlls that were missing
according to the run.log

Obviously a Wine-Mono problem.

You forgot the most important information -> Wine version?

You still need the serial number to start it.. But I think like the activator
itself is the .NET thing causing problems?
If not the one inside the main suite installer, at least the one that runs with
chem3d if you install it manually from CambridgeSoft_Desktop_2012.msi.

I don't see a way to test the activator without a serial number.
