Summary: clrmame isnt working anymore Product: Wine Version: 1.1.8 Platform: PC-x86-64 URL: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=applica tion&iId=5692 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: 3172continuum@gmail.com
i have ubuntu 8.04 here since the update to 1.1.8 most programs seemed to work normal but clearmamepro (v3.120) is not doing it's job properly:
everytime i try to starts: its creating directories (of the files it tries to open if i judge that correctly :-) ) and does not start correctly
now that i went back to wine 1.0.0 everythings seems fine
i guess, i used cmp often enough so the error was not under 1.1.7 but i repeat: that is only a guess! :)

--- Comment #2 from Scott Ritchie scott@open-vote.org 2009-08-16 03:30:18 --- I tried to verify this bug but I couldn't quite figure out how the software is supposed to actually work.
The author does mention Wine on his download page, however: http://mamedev.emulab.it/clrmamepro/download.htm
Could you confirm if this is still a problem on the latest (1.1.27 or newer) Wine please? Thank you!

--- Comment #3 from Jeff Zaroyko jeffz@jeffz.name 2010-03-08 17:39:11 --- Downloaded and installed the program, tested with 1.1.37 & 1.1.40. Created a profile, seemed to work ok.
It's not exactly clear what the original issue was, no response from the reporter, resolving abandoned.
