When a program causes a crash in the Xserver something really bad is going on.
Apps aren't able to do this. Useally when something like this happens there is
a bug in X and in your case most likely a bug in your video driver. The intel
drivers are still under heavy development and aren't very mature. I would
contact the developers. (http://www.intellinuxgraphics.org)
