Hello everyone,
I tried installing Opera Neon in a fresh prefix but the installation wouldn't even start and throws a backtrace on 2.7 which is attached.

Backtrace is no longer thrown on 2.8 (non staging) but the installer itself doesn't start up. Console output is attached.

I can confirm the crash. The crash can be avoided by the attached patch (add stub for RtlGetUnloadEventTrace). However, things seem to go earlier wrong.
I don`t know why the installer doens`t show up, but running the setup file still installs the application as far as i can see (in ~/drive_c/users/louis/Local Settings/Application Data/Opera Software/Opera Neon/Application)
I can start the browser, but you have to add --no-sandbox (to wine neon.exe) to actually load webpages. I can browse some sites so it appears to work

Did a retest with wine 3.20 and it is just like you said. Bug can be closed.

With the latest installer backtraces no longer occur.
