Backtrace

While installing Assassin's Creed it crashed something it was running although
the installation continued. (Backtrace attached)

I'm using the latest GIT of wine at this time.

Did it crash with earlier versions of Wine? Can you try with a clean ~/.wine
directory?

Removing deprecated CVS/GIT version tag. Please retest in current git. If the
bug is still present in today's wine, but was not present in some earlier
version of wine, please update version field to earliest known version of wine
that had the bug. Thanks!

I deleted my wine dir and compiled the latest version from today's GIT.

I get a crash just as the installer exits. Not functionality breaking as it
installs fine, however I'm sure you agree we should probably figure out why
it's crashing.

The bug is solved for Polish AC. The installer goes to the end then updates
successfully DirectX and exits without a crash. After that I copy unprotected
AssassinsCreed_Dx9.exe and I can start the game.

Not at the moment, I don't have my AC disks where I am.

Setup log 1.1.34

With current git (1.1.34), I am able to install the game files properly and
update Direct X, but the setup crashes when a program called "Detection.exe"
fails to work. It does not affect the game however, I am able to load the game
executable and to start a game without problems.

I have uploaded my log of the crash, if it is of any use.
