Can you try with the latest version of the application (2.5 b193 as of writing)?
I remember seeing those horizontal lines ca. 2 months ago while using a former version of the app. Now, with the current version I'm getting white spaces when scrolling a document with the mouse wheel. As if those parts of the document were erased.
It only happens when scrolling the document in large steps (e.g. using the mouse wheel or the cursor keys). If I scroll the document in finer steps with the arrows on the right there are no such artifacts.
The terminal output is the same as yours (wine-1.3.14-154-gde7d1ad).

Hello!
I did a quick check last night and can confirm your observation. Plus the Problem seems to be Document dependent as simple text docs seem not to be affected. But it definitely improved with the b193 version and seems only to occur when scrolling fast over a document. But this was really just a quick check as I´m short of time for them moment.

I'm seeing the same behaviour here also. While scrolling up or down, horizontal sections of the document are not drawn correctly. Happens with text or graphics.
Using a recent CrossOver here:
Product Name: CrossOver Linux Professional Public Version: 10.0.3 Product Version: 10.0.3 Build Tag: cxoffice-10.0.3rc1 Build Timestamp: 20110426T175757Z
I will try to reproduce this with the latest stable and devel versions of wine.

Bug appears when using both wine 1.2.3 or 1.3.21.

--- Comment #7 from Cosmin M. Stroe cosmin@stroe.me 2011-06-04 23:21:19 CDT --- Ok, so after a little digging, some people mentioned that the previous stable version of PDF-XChange Viewer (version 2.0 Build 57.0) does not have this scrolling bug with wine.
Since I cannot find the download link for the previous version on the official website, googling "pdfxchange viewer 2.057" leads to:
http://www.forumwizard.net/applications/790466-pdf-xchange-viewer-2-057-a.ht...
where you can get links for the previous version.
I can confirm that the older version of the program does not have this problem. So as a workaround you can install the older version of the program. It works almost the same for what I need it.

--- Comment #8 from MSchlesner@web.de 2011-08-09 07:50:25 CDT --- I had also white spaces and artefacts after scrolling the document.
Activating "Use synchronous mode of page rendering" in PDF-XChange Viewer (Edit -> Preferences -> Performance) solved the problem --- now it works perfectly for me.

Hi!
Can confirm that. Works a little slower as mentioned, but fine! Thanks for the effort!

It happens when scrolling the document in large steps (using the mouse wheel or the cursor keys). If I scroll the document in finer steps with the arrows on the right there are no such artifacts.
Ps: The bug happens in another programs too.
