I am trying to use an accounting program specifically written for the management of local churches in Belgium.
The original program was written in BPW Borland Pascal for Windows 13 years ago. When a print command is issued, absolutely nothing happens. When using the notepad under Wine, printing is ok. The program can be freely dowloaded at: http://home.euphonynet.be/logiciel-fabrique/ I know the software writer but did not ask if he would agree to provide the source code.
Wine version: wine-1.1.42. Operating system UBUNTU 9.04 Printer HP920C - parrallel port Desktop Gnome 2.26.1

Not readable.
I know the software writer but did not ask if he would agree to provide the source code.
That would help for sure. The printing part is enough.
Please start your app, try to print and attach the logfile here.

I already did attach the requested log file. Just to be sure : this was done under Wine 1.2 while I did report the problem with an earlier version of Wine.
I will ask for the source code and be back to you as sonnas I get an answer.

He tells me that he has modernized his program and re-written it in Delphi. The present version will be withdrawn within a few days and the new Delphi version will be available by August 20. This man thinks it is worthless to try anything on the present program and to test the new version, which I will do.
Unless someone thinks that it is usefull to continue, I suggest to close this bug report.
I am really sorry for the inconvenience.
