Everything is quite ok in wine-version 0.9.36 (you have to reinstall but its
ok)
In version 0.9.43 it hangs by showing the "splash".

P.S. I used the Ubuntu-Package from this site for Feisty 7.04

Please try with a clean .wine, and if the problem still occurs, run a
regression test:
