Game after launching shows only a black screen. After applying native
d3dx9_36.dll - runs fine.

It's probably related to the effects framework, specifically the D3D state
updates aren't processed at all right now. The typical hint for it from the log
is:

fixme:d3dx:ID3DXEffectImpl_BeginPass No states applied, yet!

There are a number of bugs which we can consider duplicates: bug 15904, bug
25857, bug 25260, bug 23356. We can probably mark all of them duplicates, not
sure which bug is best to keep: bug 25857 has the best title but it's not
particularly nice otherwise...
