I have more then 2 GB of ram but when I try to install warframe. The launcher tells me that I don't have 2GB of ram.
I am using the 32bit prefix

Yes, but a tiny bit differently. if windows sees that you have 2 GB ram it allows the installation but under wine you should have 2 GB free.

Ok, definitely a bug Just tested it on a windows 8.1 laptop that has 1.7 GB of ram and the installation started there

Correcting myself I was thinking another game.
This game seems to be available at steam for free. Is that the version you are trying to run?

--- Comment #11 from Alento alentoghostflame@gmail.com --- Using the latest version Wine, along with the Steam English Warframe launcher, when I'm low on RAM it will say that I don't have enough memory. Checking my RAM usage does indeed confirm this. It seems that the Steam English version detects RAM usage correctly, and as far as I have tested, acts like the Windows version. Not saying this bug is confirmed or not, just saying that Steam English seems to work as expected
