I have the original dvd, but apperar this message: "Please insert the correct
DVD-ROM, select OK and restart application". I also tried with a no dvd crack,
but the game don't run.

My distro is ubuntu 8.10 64 bits.The game don't run, but don't appear any error
message dialog.

Please don't update any fields.
Compile Wine yourself. I don't trust prebuilt binaries, especial for ubuntu.
They had number of incompatibilities with copy protecton systems like Safedisk.

I compile wine myself (version 1.1.14) and the problem persists.

Now, I use wine 1.1.24 that I've compiled myself from source. My distro is
Caixa Mágica 14. The demo of this game work like a dream, but the full game not
:(. I'm sure, it looks like safedisc...

Does it work if you use a no dvd crack? That would tell us if it's safedisc or
not...
