Summary: Garbage appears in Picasa's Search field after leaving import screen Product: Wine Version: 20050830 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-misc AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: dank@kegel.com
I'm running 20050830 compiled from the tarball, with a couple patches from Mike M. (http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-patches/2005-September/020605.html, http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-devel/2005-September/040024.html)
Garbage appears in the search field of the main screen after importing images. Sometimes backspacing over the garbage doesn't get rid of it, so there's something fishy going on.
To repeat: 0. Install Picasa from http://toolbar.google.com/picasa/picasa2-setup-1884.exe 1. Start Picasa 2. click "Import" button 3. click "Cancel" button (to see it, you may need to click the Maximize button, that's another bug)
You should now see a few bytes of garbage in the search field in the upper right of the screen. Sometimes the garbage is ignored, sometimes it causes all images to be filtered out (since none match the garbage), displaying "No pictures found".
