Please provide a terminal output log (http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log)
Also - are you genuinely running Solaris as reported?

This log was produced by Wine 1.3.27 on oi_148, today tried on OpenSolaris 11,
and error was the same.
Does this bug specific only for Solaris?

Compile Wine 1.3.27 with the Video4Linux (VLC) library.

Skype 5.5.0.119
OpenIndiana oi_151a

I can install and run Skype 5.5.0.119 in Wine 1.3.30. No major issues outside
of known issues.

Update to Skype >=5.5 to properly test this issue. The Skype app has its own
share of issues. Use Wine 1.3.29/1.3.30 for testing.

No.  This bug is open against Skype 5.3, so you need to test Skype 5.3 to see
if the bug remains.  Skype changes wildly between minor versions.  Checking a
later version does not indicate if the bug in Wine has been fixed.
