try this patch/hack attached by another user to indesign

then starts fine for me, so looks like same issue

SonicStage uses kernel mode driver for its DRM stuff. That won't work
under Wine.

Does the patch from https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=25790 help? If yes,
this issue can be marked as duplicate. There is no need to keep three or more
bug reports about incorrect button WM_CTLCOLOR* messages. ;)

The download links are unfortunately no longer valid, but an older version
(sha1: 669f160e03864a5850e71e20d90ff89297b95163) seems to be affected by the
same issue.
