From the log: (process:7242): GThread-WARNING **: GThread system no longer supports custom thread implementations.
This is a dupe of bug #30557. Does it help if you disable winegstreamer?

--- Comment #4 from GyB gyebro69@gmail.com 2012-06-10 11:02:28 CDT --- Oops, I should have read the 2nd log as well which is about a different problem (crash in the Intel driver?)

Please open a new bug report for the problem that can be seen in the log in comment #1, although it might turn out to be invalid (a driver bug). At least I can't reproduce that problem with a Nvidia gfx card and the proprietary driver 295.53. I tested with Wine 1.4 and 1.5.6, EU III Complete + Divine Wind v5.1

--- Comment #6 from Toscho liesdiedatei@gmail.com 2012-06-10 15:09:21 CDT --- Strange, I installed patch 5.1 and discoverd the following: Starting with master_volume=100.0 yields a freeze with sound at "Map properly initialised". Starting with master_volume=-1 yields a crash like without 5.1
