I am able to play now after installing a very old wine version (0.9.17). It
broke some win programs i am using but WC3 works perfectly. So in case you want
to play too and don't fear dependency problems do this:

cd
apt-get remove wine
wget
http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/archive/ubuntu/dapper/wine_0.9.17~winehq0~ub...

sudo dpkg -i --force-depends wine_0.9.17~winehq0~ubuntu~6.06-1_i386.deb
