Adding 'download' keyword since there's a demo on steam (assuming that will
reproduce the bug).

Your backtrace shows
Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x00000000 in 32-bit code
(0x20fa7edf).
Backtrace:
=>0 0x20fa7edf in fglrx_dri.so (+0xba1edf) (0x03cd97a0)

which makes this look more like a driver bug than a wine bug.

What graphics card is this?
Which version of the driver are you using?  
Does the driver updating help?

Was using an elrepo driver, they had extra 32bit compatability or as they said,
will get propriatery drivers and see how they go.

Disabled whats it called glsl, and the game loaded, but that was about it, the
original SSHD would load the cinematics but fail on actual game play, been
having problems with drivers as of late because have A3870k cpu with hd6550d
onboard gpu and also have a hd6670 standalone.

Been doing a bit of distro hopping but have found that centos has been the only
one that detects both video cards and will pipe video through either cards
without having to play with the distro at all.

So as you said its probably a driver/card/distro problem was just confused as
to why most other things work fine in wine and others don't figured it wasn't
regression because SSHD has been listed as working for quiet some time.
