A previously gold application (GURPS Character Assistant 4.0.356) has broken on 1.0-rc2. The program relies heavily on native versions of riched20.dll and oleaut32.dll, but fails regardless. Otherwise I'm not sure of the problem.
This version of 1.0-rc2 was compiled with the "3dMarks" patch so I could avoid rebooting to play games on a dual-boot system.

The program can be downloaded through Steve Jackson Games, it's a character creation utility for their GURPS tabletop roleplaying game. It costs about $15 or so as a download, but isn't much use to anyone not playing the game.
The developer is active on their forum (forums.sjgames.com) and is actively helping the Linux users on the forum by providing tech support and trying to make it more compatible within his ability to do so. I will be doing the regression test soon, though it might be tomorrow before I can post results.

I'm not sure if it was the 3dmark patch or an improper compile, but it works now.
