Ubuntu Xenial, Nvidia 396.24

Tekken 7 (Steam) shows a cyan colored flicker in place of some background
images. For instance the Bandai Namco logo right at the start of the game is
instead a completely cyan colored screen. At the main menu, the background
image of Heihachi changes between the normal image and a solid cyan colored
background.

Last working version is wine staging 3.6. The issue appeared with 3.7 and is
still present in 3.8. Downgrading to 3.6 makes the issue disappear. apt-get
upgrading to 3.8 again makes it reappear.

I'm using the Wine-staging packages from

It's a staging bug, so I'm not sure regression testing as such is going to be
as helpful.

Does the bug occur with main Wine (non-Staging)? Or does the game fail to run
in that case?

I've verified that the same issue occurs with non-staging wine. Just as with
staging, it seems to have been introduced between 3.6 and 3.7. Unfortunately I
cannot do the linked regression testing. apt-get build-dep wine fails on my
Ubuntu xenial because of version conflicts.
