Summary: ld: cannot find -lgdbm on compilation Product: Wine Version: 20020509 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: wine-misc AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.com ReportedBy: seasidefront@yahoo.fr
Dear colleague,
When I compile wine I got the following message:
Note (probably harmless): No library found for -ldbm /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgdbm collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [winetest.exe.so] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/ignasi/wine-20020509/programs/winetest' make[1]: *** [winetest] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/ignasi/wine-20020509/programs' make: *** [programs] Error 2
Compilation failed, aborting install.
I use Debian Potato 2.2, with the following programs:
gcc 2.95.2 2 ld 2.9.5
wine-20020411 has compiled successfully on the same machine.
If you want or I missed some more info, please tell me.
Thanks a lot for all your effort.
All the very best,
Ignasi
