Entering the third screen of character creation (history) a window pops up:

Wind program crash

Internal Error: Invalid parameters received

I was running Eve using Crossover (latest version just downloaded) so I do not
know which version of Wine was used.  I also encountered this situation when
trying to run Eve using PlayOnLinux using Wine 1.5.10

I also filed a bug with Crossover.

New to Linux and have no idea where Crossover posted any log files.

Not major, see http://bugs.winehq.org/page.cgi?id=fields.html#importance

Crossover and PlayOnLinux are not supported here. Retry in the latest
development version of plain wine (1.5.11). Attach a log as seen in
http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log
