Screenshot with the graphic issue

On starting a new game the game shows the hint that the initial scene can be
skipped with pressing space but sometimes the word space (which is drawn on a
square) is black as shown in the screenshot.

Also it seems that all button hints except for space in the initial scene are

Needs console output. Also the wine version is already so old that you should
upgrade that before providing any logs.

Terminal output with Wine 2.0 RC3

I don't remember to have seen the black square for a while but the button hints
do still not show their text on it. In the attachments is the terminal output
for such a case.

the forest runs fine for me under wine 3.11
