--- Comment #1 from Ken Sharp imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com --- What version of Call of Duty 4? Does the demo experience the same issues?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37851
--- Comment #2 from Hardy Schumacher hardy.schumacher@gmx.de --- "Call of Duty 4" has version 1.7. The issue is still active since several versions of Wine-1.7.

--- Comment #3 from hyacinthe.cartiaux@free.fr --- Same problem here with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 1.7 under archlinux x86_64 and wine from version 1.7.29 to 1.7.36. So I'm still using 1.7.28 which runs COD4 perfectly. I've not yet tested 1.7.37.
I'll try to reproduce with the demo.

--- Comment #4 from hyacinthe.cartiaux@free.fr --- I've compiled the sources from git and can't reproduce anymore (wine --version: wine-1.7.37-66-gfa685fc)

--- Comment #6 from Matteo Bruni matteo.mystral@gmail.com --- (In reply to hyacinthe.cartiaux from comment #4)
I've compiled the sources from git and can't reproduce anymore (wine --version: wine-1.7.37-66-gfa685fc)
The bug was probably fixed by 7c4d512fee752876b4ce95f1f97308f6a291b010, which is in 1.7.37 but not in 1.7.36. If you want to doublecheck, you could revert that patch and see if the bug comes back.

--- Comment #7 from hyacinthe.cartiaux@free.fr --- Ok, if I revert 7c4d512fee752876b4ce95f1f97308f6a291b010, this bug reappears. I can't reproduce using wine 1.7.37 on the demo and the full game.
I think this bug can be closed.
