basic console output

I'm using the Steam version of the Fear 2 Demo, and sound will not work in
game.

The first two intro movies have sound, and the end movie has sound, they're
both like Mpeg movies though.

I'm attaching basic console output, including Steam's output (I don't know
where Steam ends and FEAR 2 begins).  If you need some more specific Debug
output, just ask.

Where the log says:

That's when I exited the game, and that part and everything after it is the
only time I found anything related to sound.

I should probably add that I use Alsa, not PulseAudio or OSS or anything.
And sound works for me in everything else.

This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 6
months. Is this still an issue in current (1.1.33 or newer) wine?

No response in over a year, marking abandoned. If this is still an issue in
current (1.3.9 or newer) wine, and you can provide the needed information, feel
