--- Comment #2 from Oliver Henshaw yoho_ahoy@hotmail.com 2012-05-31 12:58:08 CDT --- Still a problem on Fedora 17:
wine-tahoma-fonts-1.5.3-1.fc17.noarch
On a hunch I moved tahomabd.ttf out of /usr/share/fonts/wine-tahoma-fonts/ and suddenly I had a working bold; tahomabd.ttf on its own has a regular and italic, but seemingly no bold. I don't see the 9pt bold mentioned in comment #1, either in the default configuration or with just tahomabd.ttf; tahoma.ttf does have a (perhaps weak) 9pt bold.

--- Comment #3 from Oliver Henshaw yoho_ahoy@hotmail.com 2012-05-31 13:12:49 CDT --- comment #2 was with embedded bitmaps for tahoma disabled - reading again I'm not sure that was the case with the original bug report.
The "missing bold with disabled embedded bitmaps in tahoma" problem has been known for a while - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=693180 and https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wine1.2/+bug/412195 both mention it - and last time I looked I was sure that there was a wine bug addressing this. If this isn't that bug, I apologise.

--- Comment #4 from Oliver Henshaw yoho_ahoy@hotmail.com 2012-06-04 11:19:12 CDT --- With embedded bitmaps: Only 9pt Tahoma is bold.
With embedded bitmaps disabled: Tahoma bold is not bold.
Either possibility, tahomabd.ttf removed: All sizes of Tahoma bold are bold.

--- Comment #5 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for two years. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.25 or newer) wine?

Issue still appears in wine 1.7.43 with Evernote. See attached screenshot - the first row is bold while the second one is regular.

--- Comment #7 from Robert Munteanu robert.munteanu@gmail.com --- However, the problem disappears after
winetricks tahoma
Which I wasn't aware needed to be done in addition to winetricks corefonts.

--- Comment #8 from Guillaume R guillaumeraffin@free.fr --- This bug still occurs with Evernote, on Wine 2.3 (staging), Fedora 25.
Installing tahoma with winetricks doesn't change anything: Tahoma bold still isn't bold. The other fonts seem to work well.
