Summary: Icons and fonts regression in Civilization 4: Colonization Product: Wine Version: 1.1.13 Platform: PC-x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: michael@mcdonnell.dk
Created an attachment (id=19231) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=19231) Graphics regression with rectangles around icons and instead of fonts.
There has been a regression in the display of icons and fonts in Civilization 4: Colonization. Rectangles appear around icons after a little while, and the fonts are only displayed as rectangles.
Version 1.1.12 works fine, but 1.1.13 and 1.1.14 got the regression.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Sail ship to coast 2. Select pioneer unit
The attached picture shows how the graphics is corrupted.

I cant seem to reproduce this issue using wine 1.1.14, could it be related to specific dll overrides?
Yes it must have been caused by a dll override. It worked again after making a clean prefix and installing msxml3 and directx.
