The benchmark for FFXIV 6.0 does not launch.

--- Comment #1 from Yao Mitachi yaomtc@protonmail.com --- I found that it depends on some relatively new .NET functions, that is, dotnet48 (which is problematic to install).

--- Comment #2 from George Gibbs vash63@gmail.com --- Same issue here.
For anyone attempting to work on this, the benchmark is a free download that you can grab from here: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/benchmark/download/
For end users, the author of DXVK has made an entirely separate launcher in Python that works fine: https://github.com/doitsujin/ffxiv-benchmark-launcher
As a side note, I'm personally concerned that this will cause issues when the 6.0 patch for FFXIV lands in a few months, which is currently wine-compatible and uses a similar launcher.

--- Comment #3 from Yao Mitachi yaomtc@protonmail.com --- Yes, that custom launcher works great, and also the Lutris x86_64 installer worked for me, under "unpublished installers" here: https://lutris.net/games/final-fantasy-xiv-endwalker-benchmark/
The concern is whether the old launcher (which works in Wine, and users can currently enable by changing a value in a config file) will work. It's possible they may drop the old launcher. If so, users will have to use XIVLauncher unless there's a dotnet48 integration into Wine or Proton in the next few months.

--- Comment #5 from joaopa jeremielapuree@yahoo.fr --- Works fine for me with wine-8.17. As usual, no dll overrides, only vanilla wine in a fresh wineprefix.
Can you confirm?

Sorry, last comment is an error. I wrote the comment in the wrong bug report. It crashes for me too with wine-8.17
