Summary: Touhou 11 doesn't fill the window in >640x480 modes Product: Wine Version: CVS/GIT Platform: Other URL: http://www16.big.or.jp/~zun/html/th11dl.html OS/Version: other Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: leffeman@gmail.com
Created an attachment (id=15631) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=15631) A screenshot of the bug.
This game provides three windowed modes, 640x480 works as it is supposed to, filling up the entire window. However, the two other modes 960x720 and 1280x960 do not -- the game only draws to the bottom-left corner (0, 0) as if the window was 640x480 large.

--- Comment #1 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2008-08-25 09:57:52 --- What's the output of the 'xrandr' command? Did you change any settings in winecfg? If so what have you changed? And can you put it to default and retry?

What do you mean windowed? Virtual desktop or window in application?
Just a regular window, i.e. not full-screen meaning the resolution is not changed.

--- Comment #8 from dkeehl@gmail.com 2008-08-26 00:02:19 --- This game can be played in a window of 640x480 or 960x720 or 1280x960. If you choose any size other than 640x480, for example 960x720, you get a window of that size, but the game is still displayed in the size of 640x480, leaving the outer space black, just like the attached screenshot shows. I have this problem too.

--- Comment #12 from Chin-Chang Yang jimah45abmw@hotmail.com 2008-11-12 03:38:48 --- This bugs cannot be reproduced in my computer. The screen size in the window is actually in 640x480. No outer space black is appeared. It is required to acquire more system information to reproduce this bug. My system is Ubuntu 8.04, with restricted video driver installed, and the video card is Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series. Touhou Project 11 is the same trail version 0.02a as showed in the screen shot. Everything works fine, except of bug 15146. Hope these information helps.

--- Comment #13 from Loïc Hoguin essen@dev-extend.eu 2008-11-12 05:06:37 --- (In reply to comment #12)
The bug happens when you select the other two resolution modes (windowed 960x720 or 1280x960). In 640x480 everything works well. Delete your th11.cfg to be able to choose a new resolution mode in case the box doesn't appear anymore.
The bug is still present in 1.1.8.

--- Comment #15 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2009-01-20 02:40:12 --- Removing deprecated CVS/GIT version tag. Please retest in current git. If the bug is still present in today's wine, but was not present in some earlier version of wine, please update version field to earliest known version of wine that had the bug. Thanks!

Judging from the date of submission I would say that the bug was first reported on git from between the releases 1.1.3 and 1.1.4.
