Steps to reproduce: 1) remove ~/.wine 2) install BearShareV9pl.exe (default installation) 3) wine BearShare.exe
Behaviour: Main window appears and crash.
Expected behaviour: No crash.

The program installs, but at launch it complains about corrupted files. You can already see some interface drawn.

Winetricks -q ie8 wmp10 and install bearshare
is enough to get this working.
It doesnt complain about corrupted files after wmp10

I've found the original installer. Unfortunately it's a bootstrapper, requiring Internet for additional payload install.

Resolving 'abandoned' here. All other BearShare links are different versions and even different installer technology (ad supported, without 3rd party content etc.).
