Summary: Page fault when closing help viewer Product: Wine Version: 1.0-rc3 Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: hhctrl.ocx AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: forrest@alumni.ncsu.edu
Created an attachment (id=13605) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=13605) Normal output from crash
When running EasyGPS 1.3.7, if you attempt to close the help, it will crash with a page fault. It does not crash on the first click of close though. The first click will close the HTML area and the second click causes the crash. You will need Gecko installed to open the help in the first place also.
You can download this version of EasyGPS from here: http://www.thelinkup.com/shared/bef6pcp3tpu4
The newer 2.8.5 version of this application does not have this problem.
This could potentially be a duplicate or related to bug 12986 and bug 12767.

--- Comment #2 from Lei Zhang thestig@google.com 2008-06-05 01:42:28 --- After you click close the first time, there's a popup that says "an error occurred". Even if you get past this crash, EasyGPS still closes.

--- Comment #5 from Forrest Samuels forrest@alumni.ncsu.edu 2008-12-11 13:34:37 --- This is fixed in version 1.1.10. I am not sure what fixed it though. There were a number of changes in dlls/hhctrl.ocx/webbrowser.c since 1.0-rc3.
