Summary: Shanghai Alice games: last frame's image remains while in the menus Product: Wine Version: 0.9.52. Platform: PC URL: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version &iId=9178&iTestingId=15936 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: wine-misc AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: dottomi@gmail.com
Created an attachment (id=9925) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=9925) Image showing the problem
As of wine-0.9.50 and newer, the background in the menus has disappeared. Additionaly, on 0.9.52 the screen isn't updating correctly: the image from the last frame isn't cleared and stay. You can clearly see the problem in the attached image. It happens in every Team Shanghai Alice's game. Besides the image, I'll attach outputs from 0.9.49, .50 and .52.

--- Comment #4 from Roc Vallès i Domènech rvalles@es.gnu.org 2007-12-30 18:53:38 --- It worked fine for me with 0.9.51 on x86.
I just noticed it as I built wine for the first time, 0.9.52, after swapping motherboard/cpu from socket A old athlon-xp to intel e2160 and building gentoo, that is, a few hours ago.
Did you try 0.9.51, too? (since you're comparing 0.9.50 and 0.9.52 I'll assume you did not)
If I'm right, the problem was introduced somewhere between 0.9.51 and 0.9.52.

--- Comment #5 from Roc Vallès i Domènech rvalles@es.gnu.org 2007-12-30 18:59:13 --- To "last frame's image remains" I add "instead of showing a background picture".
Background begins being white and then basically shows whatever it had last been overwritten with.
To me it looks like the real problem is that the background picture doesn't get to appear (which is too bad, since it's pretty), and the problem we see derives from that.
