--- Comment #5 from Lukas Jirkovsky l.jirkovsky@gmail.com 2008-06-14 04:41:11 --- It seems that not all is extracted, because when I try to run Installer from temp directory (windows/temp/CanonUPW_000/INST/INSTALL/COMMON/) it says that Install.exe could not load master.ini. master.ini doesn't exist anywhere in wine directory.

I've run the installer on windows and I've copied all temporary data created before running installer (it means all related directories from application data folder - CanonUPW_000,UIW_IMAGE and WPDNSE) to windows/temp. Then I've run /CanonUPW_000/INST/INSTALL/COMMON/Install.exe and it works!

If you don't have CD which came with Canon DSLR cameras, you can fool updater to install DPP with small change to registry: Add key `Canon` to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE. Then add key `DPP` inside it. According to some forums installation should work now.
NOTE: I have not tested it, because I had installed DPP 2.2.0.1 before.
