I installed wine 2.0 and Office 2010 (following this instruction: http://askubuntu.com/questions/674692/installing-office-2010-on-ubuntu-15-04... , because otherwise even the installation of office 2010 didn't work). The bug with excel solver does still persist. Please see in the attached logfile.

--- Comment #3 from Nikolay Sivov bunglehead@gmail.com --- I recommend to avoid random installation guides, especially outdated ones. Start with Wine 2.0 and clean prefix. After installation set riched20 to native, builtin.

--- Comment #4 from Enrico enienimail-winehq@yahoo.de --- Dear Nikolay Sivov,
I was not able to install Office 2010 in a clean wine 2.0 prefix. Neither in the given 64-bit prefix nor in a 32-bit prefix. With the random installation guide it was possible to install Office 2010. The bug with excel solver does still exist there. Is there any way to fix this?

Changing riched20 from native to "native, builtin" had no effect. Bug does still persist. Thank you for the suggestion.

--- Comment #6 from Rosanne DiMesio dimesio@earthlink.net --- Try following the installation instructions in the AppDB. https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=17336
I have Office 2010 installed, but have never used solver, so I really don't know how to test this. Please give exact steps to reproduce the problem.

Dear Rosanne,
I already tried to follow the installation instructions in the AppDB. With older versions of wine, it is no problem. But with wine 2.0 it was not possible for me to install Microsoft office.
Nevertheless, Excel Solver does not work in any version of wine. Please try to solve an equation with solver and you will see the error. I think this is a general bug.

--- Comment #8 from vasarmilan@gmail.com --- Same thing here, Error: Run Time Error 438 - Object Doesn't Support this Property or Method comes up whenever trying to use solver. I installed Office 2010 following the instructions in AppDB, and I have tried with Wine versions 2.0, 2.6 and 2.7. Everything else works fine but solver wouldn't work. Same thing happens in Excel 2007. Has anyone got the solver addin to work in either of these?
