Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War Winter assault (2CD version) requires the original
Dawn Of War to be installed. Setup fails as it could not find the original game
installed on Wine.

Hi,

could you please have a look into the registry?

Open regedit and locate the key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\THQ\Dawn of War\

Please paste the InstallLocation path.
Is there a backslash at the end of this path?

Is the key "CDKEY" set correctly, or does it only contain zeros?

Damn me it is all wierd O_o. After I finished testing original DoW and couldn`t
install Winter Assault I removed DoW.(I think so, damn me I start to doubt)
After your answer I installed DoW again and tried to install Winter Assault
just for fun....and damn me installation didn`t fail O_o. Winter Assault is now
installed and working. Maybe I made something wrong first time. I couldn`t
remember now, I think the bug was not in WINE, but in my head:) I start to
suspect that I removed DoW BEFORE trying to installing Winter Assault.
Sorry for false alarm, I think that this bug report can be removed.
