Bug ID: 53643 Summary: Drakan - order of the flame: creating server doesn't work Product: Wine Version: 7.16 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: dplay Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: kotowhiskas@protonmail.com Distribution: ---
Created attachment 73046 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=73046 wine log
When trying to create multiplayer session, it shows "check your connection settings" because dplay fails. Installing directplay dll from winetricks fixed the issue.
It's a repack because multiplayer feature is not implemented in the official demo.
wine version: staging 7.16 OS: Arch Linux x86_64 Kernel: 5.19.6-arch1-1

Does it work in a real windows box? Otherwise said, are the servers still alive?
It works in windows, also works in linux after installing directplay dll through winetricks (I tried drakan lan multiplayer on vm linux host + windows guest, and it worked, with directplay dll).
Of course online multiplayer servers have been off for a long time, I meant LAN servers and LAN multiplayer.
Btw I found a wine dplay metabug (https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6847) and as far as I understand dplay isn't implemented in wine at all?

That's correct.
