[Bug 14581] New: TDU

TDU installed fine, finished ok, but when I try to run it, I get the "splash"
screen and then nothing, it basically dies.

Anyone else having the same problems, anyone got any fixes or idea?

What Wine version? What is TDU? Is there demo? If so, please link to it.

Sorry, it is Wine 1.0.0 in Kubuntu Linux, and TDU is Test Drive Unlimited,

Not sure about the demo, I have bought the game.

Sadly updating to 1.0.0 worked, the games loads but then crashes my kubuntu
session, not helpful!

To clarify this: You meant you updated to wine 1.1.1, you get further with it
as initially reported with wine 1.0.0 but later your xserver crashed?

Yes I meant 1.1.1 sorry.

Correct, I get a lot further, the game loads and I get the first menu, then my
session crashes.
