When I start Half Life 1 and I go to options and change the forward, backward,
strafe keys and save that and go back to the game, then the keys are changed
back to what it was in the beginning.

Please attach complete terminal output of running the game.

Is this a standalone version of Steam version? How was it installed? Installed
where?

I opened a console and went to ~/Bureaublad/Steam$ (Bureaublad = Desktop) and
did wine Steam.exe

Steam started and I copied all what was standing in the console but I see that
I don't have everything, how can I do it so that I have to full output ?

I have a windows7 (64bit) computer and I copied the full steam directory to my
ubuntu 9.10 (64bit) desktop and that's how I start it. I tried installing steam
with wine but then I get an error (See picture). So I did it like this.

Then I have no idea how to start the game if I'm not allowed to open steam.

Then go through steps to reproduce the problem.

What is your locale (post complete output of 'locale' command' and keyboard
layout?

I use the BE layout.

If I start the game now, HL then when the game starts, the screen is turning
away to the right-down. Before I didn't had that, I just want to mention that.

No reply in over a year, and no download. Resolving abandoned, if anyone is
still able to reproduce this in the current development version (currently
1.7.6) feel free to reopen.
