Black Buccaneer is a Prince-of-Persia-styled action game.

Installation runs fine but starting the game raises a popup complaining about
not finding the DVD. I'm not quite sure whether this is related to a copy
protection or not. Attaching log.

FWIW, that is IOCTL_SCSI_PASS_THROUGH_DIRECT.

Hello,

according to some websites this game has StarForce v4.x protection so capturing
this bug for v4.x
Can you run some tool like "ProtectionID" on the main executable/install folder
to verify?

According to ProtectionID mine features SecuROM(!) 07.21.0012... and now it
installs and runs fine so this bug has been fixed. Should I mark it as
RESOLVED/FIXED or RESOLVED/INVALID?

There seem to exist several editions/versions of "Black Buccaneer".
Maybe the copy protection type was switches with some versions (happens
sometimes).

Because you were the initial bug reporter I consider it fixed.
