screencast demonstrating the problem

Tested with the Steam version, no demo available.

When the game launcher appears menu options are hidden underneath grey
rectangles.
As the mouse pointer passes over a button it becomes visible (see example
screencast).
Terminal output doesn't show anything related.

The problem is reproducible in the traditional fullscreen and virtual desktop
mode as well.

The bug is present since

Could you retest with Wine 2.6?
Also, unfortunately the regression commit doesn't revert cleanly anymore.

Still present in wine-2.6-154-gcced5dfbde and Staging, too.

Btw. the game is back on Steam for a while now.
