The issue is that the "border" you see around the game itself is an invisible
border to the desktop's background. The back ground for wine is a default
black, so your seeing the right thing. I can't figure out a way to put that
more elegantly right now, sorry.

I can confirm this bug with Russian version of SC2 I had just downloaded from
Blizzard's site and Wine 1.3.12 build from sources.

Ping. I'm pretty sure that this bug had been closed as fixed by a mistake.
Should I report it again as in a separate bug? Or, maybe, there any some ways

This can also be seen in the launcher for Mists of Pandaria (World of Warcraft
beta).  On Windows the launchers have a shadow effect that varies in
opaqueness.

Blizzard uses layered windows in their splashscreens/installers.
