Log of running game and selecting 'New Game'

Ubuntu 10.04
Following a fresh install I start the game up.  When I select 'New Game' it
appears to load for about 5 seconds then hangs and process must be killed.
Audio sounds pretty funky throughout.

Yep, confirming. Native quartz doesn't help (didn't think it would, but it was
worth a try).

Please try the game with a more recent version of Wine. It should run fine in
Wine-1.3.18. Audio is playing correctly and the game doesn't hang when starting
a new game.

The bug must have been fixed by

Can confirm that I can start a new game now.  Sound only seems to work for the
first movie tho.
