Overdrive app is no longer working in WINE 5.0.2. It has only stopped working since upgrading WINE from 5.0.1

it starts for me even with Wine 5.0.2 - the version it was reported with.
I suspect OP actually tried to (download)load an OverDrive audiobook via ODM description file or had an existing collection when it crashed. Unfortunately it's hard to find a site without registration which has "free" ODMs.
Always be precise with your problem description and reproduction instructions. Otherwise you are just wasting the time of people who are trying to help you.

OverDrive crashes when I try to play an audiobook on any version of Wine before commit 79c102d6bec8, including Wine 4.0, 5.0, 5.0.1, and 5.0.2. After commit 79c102d6bec8 (Wine 6.11), OverDrive does not crash, but it doesn't play any audio either.
