Summary: Itunes 7 and the my music folder Product: Wine Version: 0.9.46. Platform: PC-x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-multimedia AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: jzimm0007@msn.com
It does install successfully with version 0.9.46, but it complains about the my music folder and exits. I bet this can be resolved by creating a "Documents and settings"Profile"\My Documents\My Music\Itunes" Folder I don't know how you would create the user profile and even if you did, would itunes recognize it?

--- Comment #1 from Josh Zimmerman jzimm0007@msn.com 2007-09-29 22:15:23 --- Created an attachment (id=8300) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=8300) This png file was of itunes saying there was no itunes folder inside of my music folder
The screen actually turned black. I had to move the mouse over everything on the screen to get the images on the screen to come back, like the desktop icons and stuff.

By default "My Music" should be located in your home directory (can be viewed/changed with 'winecfg')). You can create it there with 'mkdir $HOME/My\ Music'.
Okay, That seemed to solve that problem, itunes is either taking to long or did not even load after that.

--- Comment #6 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2007-09-29 23:52:44 --- Why did you changed severity? It is trivial problem that could be solved by creating one directory!
And please DO NOT RUN WINE AS ROOT!!!
I already told you that before on the other bug.
And REMOVE ~/.wine directory. You are towing old setup and old bugs with it!
Closing invalid.
Do not open any more bugs unless you: 1. Run Wine as normal user AND 2. Remove ~/.wine directory AND 3. Reinstall itunes

Sorry, I rebooted the computer and itunes worked fine.
