Remove .wine. Then try 'winetricks mdac28', and post another log.

No, I don't need winetricks log. Clean .wine directory, install mdac28 (it's another version mdac28 != mdac25) with 'winetricks mdac28', then install your application and attach a log running your application.

Could you run with:
WINEDEBUG=+relay,+seh,+tid wine "C:\Program Files\Visual Link Spanish\Level II Verb Module\vls_verb_module.exe" &>/tmp/log
and attach the (bzipped2) file /tmp/log to this bug?

Something went wrong generating the logfile:
wine: cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Visual Link Spanish\Level II Verb Module\vls_verb_module.exe'
Better cd into the directory where vls_verb_module.exe is and try again plz

This might be a duplicate of another bug
Could you try this:
rm -rf ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/user32.dll rm -rf ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/kernel32.dll
Then see if the app starts up?
