Bug ID: 44806 Summary: Photoshop CS6: active preference category background color is too dark Product: Wine Version: 3.4 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: P3 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: robert.munteanu@gmail.com Distribution: ---
Using Adobe Photoshop CS6 in a 32-bit prefix, winetricks msxml3, atmlib, gdiplus_winxp needed to fix installation and some crashes.
The preferences window uses a very dark blue to show the current category, making it quite hard to read.

--- Comment #6 from Ken Sharp imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com --- Aren't those colours set by the current theme? I doubt there is a "default" colour for this and it is set by whatever theme you have installed. I don't think this is a bug. You can probably set this "too dark" on Windows too.
I've never played with themes on Wine so I don't know if you can change this.

--- Comment #7 from Robert Munteanu robert.munteanu@gmail.com --- Thanks for the pointer to the themes. I was able to fix this locally from Desktop Integration → Item → Selection Background and picking a lighter colour.
Still, it would be very nice IMO for this to work out of the box. Note that I did not touch any wine settings while installing Photoshop.
