so I tried native, which fixes it. I tried to get a +gdiplus trace, but it quickly went over 2 gig's and is not compressing well. The demo is only 230 MB..

After that, it fails in graphic initialization on my laptop. I'll try on my desktop when I get a chance.

This doesn't work in 1.3.15, but does in wine-1.7.12-91-gadd85f4. I bisected it down to being fixed between 1.4.1 and 1.5.13.
