--- Comment #2 from Ken Sharp imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com --- Same behaviour with Staging 10.7.
The Origin version on the AppDB suggests using dxvk. I tried dvk2030 and dxvk2053 and both make the EA App show a number of error dialogs before giving up. The AppDB entries use 0.x series dxvk so I tried dxvk1000 but Steam won't even start.

--- Comment #3 from Rafał Mużyło galtgendo@o2.pl --- I don't know anything about Mass Effect, but on a chance it's Unreal Engine or something alike, see if changing wine's renderer from 'gl' to 'vulkan' helps.
It's rarely the case, but you may get lucky.

--- Comment #4 from Ken Sharp imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com --- Sadly that didn't help, but showed us Bug 58283.

--- Comment #5 from Ken Sharp imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com --- Exiting and restarting the game, as well as going between the main and multiplayer menus SOMETIMES causes the graphics to draw correctly. I can't find a specific trigger. The same is true whether using full screen or windows mode (ALT+RETURN).
Tried turning HDR on/off but it makes no difference.
