[continued from first post] is a location in the game where I get severe performance drops making the game unplayable. I have attached a save game so you can try it out for yourself. Just enter the building and let the attack commence.
Running on Linux Mint 17.0 in case that's relevant.

Nevertheless, FPS seems to drop from about 55 to 25 or so during the battle in the building. It's not completely unplayable but I'm pretty confident I would be getting 60 FPS+ with this rig on Windows.
